In October 2000 the initiative was taken to establish a Family Office. Thus Praxis became the first professional Family Office in Belgium. Since its foundation in 2000 a lot of time and attention has been spent on the right approach and interpretation of an independent family office.

The fact that no financial institution or audit agency holds shares in Praxis, manifests this independence. The employees have full ownership of shares.

Praxis operates fully independently and for the sole interest of the client. It does not receive commissions or reimbursements from banks, asset managers, insurers or other parties but is only remunerated directly by the client. This transparent way of working assures the client of entirely independent advice.

Working for different families one gains better insight in the market possibilities. It goes without saying that this results in cost-saving.

Contracts with Praxis are at all times terminable, and because of this we are obligated to prove our added value on a daily basis.
